The diversity of artistic styles in the art creation by the people of the Sepik region in Papua New Guinea is overwhelming. The carvers and weavers from numerous villages along the Sepik river create art objects that are used in ceremony, ancestral representation, spiritual protection and everyday use. The objects that have been created are nothing less than world class.
